Thomas is a food safety and quality specialist with over 25 years of experience in the food industry. After graduating as a food engineer from Wageningen University, he has worked in various fields and disciplines throughout the business. He started as a Quality Assurance Manager, continued in overall plant management, and later joined LRQA. Within LRQA, he has held several roles, ranging from auditing and technical scheme management to training and consulting. Over the years, Thomas has developed into an all-round professional with a special interest in food safety, human behaviour, and business integrity. He has been instrumental in developing and promoting training and process- and product-integrity standards in close collaboration with stakeholders.
