Beata Piega graduated from the Faculty of Food Technology at the University of Agriculture in Krakow and has worked for over 16 years in managerial positions in the Quality Control and Safety Departments of fresh fruit and vegetables at Del Monte, Univeg, Greenyard. Since 2018, Beata has been serving as the Quality Director at Consofrut Polska Sp. z o.o., overseeing her team across six branches in Poland. Her focus includes building a quality-driven culture through process optimization and continuous improvement projects, ensuring state-of-the-art technology and ERP system solutions, and maintaining high standards in operations. She also represents the company during external audits, technical visits to suppliers, and meetings with clients and partners. She's a committed and courageous person who loves to share her passion, experience and knowledge as a speaker at numerous training and thematic workshops inside and outside the organisation (e.g. Project Fresh Quality Academy, Agricultural University). She also volunteers at various events (e.g. 'Business with a Mission', 'Entrepreneur and Employee with Values', 'The Global Leadership Summit', 'Mentoring Academy').
